2007 TS Movement Essay Winners

The winners of the first annual Transformasphere essay contest are Jackson Ye (Undergrad) and Rebecca Lee (Post-Undergrad).

All essays submissions were made anonymous and were judged by nine people along the following criteria:

Content: Does the essay provide in-depth insight into a subject matter? Does the essay convey a fresh idea or expound further on an existing concept?

Style and Communication:Does the author communicate authenticity and sincerity in the essay? Is it clear that the author knows what he/she is writing about? Does the essay effectively communicate a concise idea, thought, perspective, or point?

Impact: Does the idea or perspective of the essay have a clear tie-in to transforming lives with the Gospel message? Is the essay centered on God and His people?

The Transformasphere Movement: Does the essay embody the heartbeat of the Transformasphere Movement?

Jackson Ye is currently a senior studying civil and environmental engineering at the University of Michigan. Rebecca Lee is a licensed social worker working in the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti communities. She received her MSW from The University of Michigan School of Social Work. Both are active members of Harvest Mission Community Church.
