Some of the single adults at HMCC will be hosting a discussion group called The Night Life at Sweetwaters Café in downtown Ann Arbor on October 23rd at 7:00pm. The hope of these discussion groups is to talk about significant and meaningful topics with people in our community. Various members will also be performing musical pieces and other artistic expressions.

This month, we will be discussing the following topic: Life’s Balancing Act: Friends, Family, Work, Life.

In particular, we will be looking at a framework that addresses the question, “Do your commitments match your conviction?” For so many of us, our time, energy, and money are not spent in the areas that we have the most conviction about. Rather, we expend precious resources in areas that are secondary – thus creating life imbalance.
